1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FileGrab.Link ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FileGrab.Link is a file sharing service that allows users to upload, store, and share files via unique links. The Service offers both free and paid (Pro) subscription tiers with varying features and limits.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload, share, or distribute any of the following:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content depicting minors in a sexual manner
  • Content that exploits or endangers children in any way
  • Non-consensual intimate images ("revenge porn")
  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software
  • Hacking tools, exploits, or content designed to compromise computer systems
  • Stolen data, credentials, or personal information obtained without consent
  • Pirated software, movies, music, or other copyrighted material
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Illegal drugs, weapons, or instructions for creating them
  • Fraudulent content or content designed to deceive or scam others
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk content

We actively cooperate with law enforcement and will report illegal content, including CSAM, to the appropriate authorities (NCMEC, FBI, etc.).

5. Security Scanning

To protect our users and infrastructure, executable files (.exe, .dll, .dmg, .pkg, .msi, .bat, .sh, .jar, and similar types) are automatically scanned for malware at upload time.

  • Clean files: Proceed normally without any action required
  • Infected files: Are quarantined (blocked from download by others) and the owner is notified by email
  • Owner access: File owners can still access quarantined files to investigate or verify detections

6. Our Right to Remove Content and Protect Infrastructure

We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account, at our sole discretion, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Reports of harmful or illegal content
  • Content that poses a risk to minors
  • Copyright infringement claims (DMCA)
  • Abuse of the Service or infrastructure

No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations.

7. DMCA Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on our Service infringes your copyright:

  1. Identify the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  2. Identify the infringing material with its URL
  3. Provide your contact information
  4. Include a statement of good faith belief
  5. Include a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner
  6. Provide your physical or electronic signature

8. Content Reporting

If you encounter content that violates these Terms or is illegal, please use the "Report" button on any shared link page or email abuse@filegrab.link. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

9. Service Limitations

Free Tier

  • 500 MB total storage
  • Links expire after 7 days
  • Files cannot be deleted once uploaded

Pro Tier ($10/month)

  • 10 GB storage (additional storage available)
  • Custom expiry including permanent links
  • File deletion and link management

10. Payment Terms

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are available within 3 days of initial subscription only
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

11. Account Deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings
  • Deletion requires email confirmation for security
  • After confirmation, there is a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion
  • After 7 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • Pro subscriptions are canceled immediately upon deletion confirmation
  • No prorated refunds are provided for the remaining billing period

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, DATA PRESERVATION, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILEGRAB.LINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FileGrab.Link from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Significant changes will be notified via email or website notice.
